At Eagle Electrolysis, your privacy matters as much as your comfort. This policy explains, in plain words, what information our website collects, how the clinic uses it and the choices you have.
It covers this website and the messages and booking requests you send through it.
What we collect
We only collect the details you choose to send us. You can browse the website without telling us anything about yourself.
When you send a message from our Contact page, we receive:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you add it
- Your message
When you send a booking request, we receive:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- The kind of appointment you would like and the treatment area
- The appointment length you choose
- Your preferred days and times, if you pick any
- Any notes you add
With each message or request we also see the date and time it was sent and the page of our website it came from.
How we use your information
We use your details only to look after you as a patient or future patient:
- To answer your questions
- To contact you to confirm, change or plan your appointment
- To keep a record of our conversations with you as part of your care
We do not have a newsletter and we do not send marketing emails. We never sell your information, and we never share it with anyone for advertising.
How your messages reach us
The website forms do not save your details on the website. When you press send, your message or request goes straight to the clinic by email, and we send you a short email to confirm we received it.
To block spam, the website briefly keeps a scrambled version of your internet (IP) address for one hour. It only limits how many messages can be sent in a short time and is not used to identify you.
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages visited, to keep the site secure and working.
Booking and payments with Square
Online booking and payments run through Square Appointments. When you book online, you enter your details on Square's booking pages, not on our website.
Square keeps your appointment details and, because a card is needed to reserve your time, your card on file. Your card details go straight to Square. Our website never sees or stores them.
Square may also send you appointment confirmations and reminders for us. Square handles your information under its own privacy notice: squareup.com/us/en/legal/general/privacy
Your health information
We ask about your health, medications and skin history on our intake and consent form, at or before your appointment. The website forms do not ask for this.
There is no need to share medical details in a website message or booking request. We will go over your health history with you privately. Your intake form and treatment records are kept confidential and used only to plan and provide your care.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website can save in your browser.
Our website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. If we ever add them, we will update this policy first.
WordPress, the system our website runs on, sets cookies only for people who log in to manage the site, such as the clinic team. WordPress can also set cookies that remember your name and email when you leave a comment, but our website has no comment section.
Some services from other companies that appear on our pages, such as the Google map on our Contact page, may set their own cookies. They are listed below.
Services from other companies
Our website uses a few trusted outside services for its fonts, map and booking. When a page loads one of them, your browser connects to that company, which can see basic technical details such as your IP address and browser type.
- Google Fonts, for the fonts used on every page
- cdnjs (Cloudflare) and jsDelivr, which deliver the code for the website's animations and smooth scrolling
- Google Maps, for the map on our Contact page and the Get directions link
- Square, for online booking, including the booking calendar on our Book page when it is shown
Each company handles this information under its own privacy policy. We do not send them your messages or booking requests.
How long we keep your information
We keep your messages and booking requests for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep accurate clinic records. When we no longer need them, we delete them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Show you the information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your information
Just email admin@EagleElectrolysis.com or call (208) 274 3382. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we may need to keep some records when the law requires it. We will reply as soon as we can.
You can also skip the website forms entirely and simply call or visit us.
Children
Our website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through it. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us. If you think a child has sent us their details, let us know and we will delete them.
Keeping your information safe
We take sensible steps to protect your information. Our website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, our forms are protected against spam, and only the clinic team reads the messages you send.
No website or email is completely secure, so please never send card numbers or medical records through the website or by email.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or services change, for example if we add an online intake form. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
